Release Notes

Version 24.6 - September 3rd, 2024

New Features

New Currency Settings
  • Plan Currency Customization: In the "Plan Currency" tab of the Plan Profile, admins can now configure detailed currency settings tailored to each plan and addon.
  • This includes defining conversion rates between the plan's base currency and its billing or display currencies. A toggle switch offers the choice between "Manual" and "Use API" methods for setting these conversion rates, giving admins precise control over currency handling.

  • Addons Currency Management: The enhanced Plan Profile now supports individual currency configurations for addons. Admins can set base currencies for addons independently from the plan's base currency.

  • One-Time Payment Currency Customization: In the "Details" tab of the One-Time-Payment Profile, admins can configure currency settings and conversion rates for each one-time payment, with options for "Manual" or "Use API" methods via a toggle switch.

  • Global Currency Settings: While global currency conversion rates are set in the "Currency Settings" under Site Settings, any configurations made in the Plan Profile's "Plan Currency" tab will take precedence. This feature allows admins to customize currency conversions specifically tailored to each plan's requirements.
Customize Billing Currencies for Plans
  • Plan subscription invoices can now be generated in a different billing currency than the plan's configured base currency.
  • This can be managed through the "Pricing" tab on the Plan Profile, where you can input the conversion rate between the two currencies for accurate billing.
New Tax Profile Configuration Feature
  • The "Tax Profiles" in Site Settings provide the flexibility to configure your site's tax profiles independently, without the need for integration with any tax authority.
  • These profiles are versatile and can be applied across various settings such as plans, addons, one-time payments, and draft invoices' line items.
Automatically Settle Invoices from Customer Balance

Admins can now settle customer invoices using their available balance by clicking the "Settle Invoices" button in the Invoices tab on the Customer Profile. Invoices marked as "Open" will be settled sequentially from oldest to newest until the balance is fully consumed or all invoices are paid.

New Custom Manual Payment Features

The "Manual Payment" feature now allows admins to enter custom details when settling invoices to mark them as paid, including specifying custom amounts and selecting different currencies along with their conversion rates.

Bulk Action for Pushing Invoices to ETA

Introduced a new feature on the Invoices Listing page, the "Bulk Action" button, which allows admins to easily view and select invoices that haven't been pushed to ETA for submission to the tax authority.

Download Proforma Invoice

Proforma invoices are now available for download on demand, but only for the current billing cycle and when post-paid items are present. These preliminary invoices allow admins to review a customer's billing details before the cycle ends.

Add Info Fields and Custom Fields to Subscription Profiles
  • Info fields and custom fields can now be added to individual subscription profiles within the "Subscriptions" tab, providing subscription-specific fields to help admins manage multiple subscriptions effectively.
  • This feature ensures a clear distinction between customer info fields and subscription info fields, which should be added in the "Subscriptions" tab.

Improvements

Customizable Export Fields for Invoices and Transactions

Admins can now configure info and custom fields in the Invoice Settings under Site Settings. Once set up, these fields can be selected for inclusion in Invoices and Transaction CSV Exports, providing greater flexibility for data extraction and reporting.

New Error Message Column and Filtering for Transactions

A new "Error Message" column has been added to the Transactions Listing, allowing admins to view failure reasons and filter failed transactions accordingly.

Change in Balance Display in Customer Profile

The "Available Balance" section in the Customer Profile on the Admin Portal has been renamed to "Outstanding Balance" to better represent the amount the customer currently owes per currency. This section now specifically displays the outstanding amount that needs to be paid.

New Left/Right Comment Setup for Invoices
  • Comments can now be split into two distinct columns—left and right—based on the configuration set in the Draft Invoice Narrative tab.
  • Additionally, you can set the Invoice Narrative Template in Invoice Site Settings to apply this configuration as the default for all issued invoices.
